Senior Account Executive – Cybersecurity Services
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to drive business growth and
expand our client base across the United States. This is a remote position for a
motivated professional who thrives in a consultative sales environment and understands
cybersecurity, risk, and compliance services.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing the
full sales lifecycle, building long-term client relationships, and positioning ProGate
InfoSec as a trusted cybersecurity partner. You will work closely with leadership and
technical teams to align client needs with tailored security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for cybersecurity and risk management services
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline across SMB and mid-market organizations.
- Engage prospects through consultative discussions to understand security, compliance, and business challenges.
- Present and position services including vCISO, Internal Audits, IT Security, Data Protection, and Microsoft 365 security.
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, including executives and IT leaders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting.
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
- Experience selling cybersecurity, IT services, SaaS, or professional services is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, compliance, and risk management (or ability to learn quickly).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working remotely.
- Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities and sales cycles simultaneously.
